Privacy policy · Updated 4 October 2026

Your diary stays yours.

This policy covers the public Nombli iPhone app and this website. Nombli is developed by Miloš Mandarić. Contact: support@virsle.org.

Data in the app

Your food log, saved foods, meal templates, goals and preferences are stored locally on your device. Nombli has no account, advertising, tracking, analytics SDK, or developer-operated sync service. The public app does not request Apple Health access. The developer does not receive your food diary through the app.

Backups and exports

Your Apple device backup settings may include app data in backups managed by Apple. When you export a JSON backup or CSV file, you choose the destination or app that receives it. These files contain food-history information. Their handling then depends on your chosen service. Import reads the file you select and stores the restored diary locally.

Deletion

Delete all data in Settings clears the diary stored in Nombli and returns to first launch. It does not delete files you previously exported, another device’s copies, or backups managed by Apple. Manage those through the relevant storage service or Apple settings.

Support messages

If you email support, we receive your email address and anything you choose to include. We use this information to respond and resolve your request. Please avoid sending sensitive information or a full backup unless it is necessary. You can ask us to delete your support correspondence.

Changes and questions

We will update this page if Nombli’s data handling changes. The date above identifies the current policy. For privacy questions or requests concerning information you sent to support, email support@virsle.org.
